Casting was key to this commercial. I wrote the spot with a very specific cadence and delivery in mind. Our biggest challenge was finding a child actor who would pull it off.  We cast out of Los Angeles, so I had to trust the casting director to give direction in auditions. Fortunately, we found our actress, and I was able to work with her on set to nail the performance.
