Improv Comedy

Teacher & Performer

"Our whole agency took Brad’s class, and it was an absolute blast - fun, fast, and full of unexpected moments. Beyond the LOLs it mirrored the fun of how we work: listening, building on each other’s ideas, and embracing the weird.  Huge thanks to Brad for reminding us that creativity really does thrive in those “yes, and…” moments.”

Improv comedy is first in my portfolio because it’s a big part of my life and creative process.

I’ve been studying and performing improv comedy for over 20 years. It’s an excellent education in comedy, collaboration, and facilitating creativity. It’s an activity where you are the writer, director, and actor all at one time. It’s also a lot of fun.

I’ve learned from some of the best comedy minds in the world by watching and studying with them. This includes Armando Diaz, Mike Myers, TJ and Dave, Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, and many more. Today, I’m a member of a team called 700%, and we perform at Improv Night at the comedy club Grove 34 in Astoria. I’m very proud of this team because of how talented everyone is and our ability to put up consistently funny shows.

I’m also a veteran teacher who teaches teams, classes, and corporate workshops. I absolutely love teaching because it makes me better at working with people and finding comedy with my students. My love of creating comedy with others is a big reason why I want to become a comedy director.
