Film directing is a new arena for me. I’ve helped shoot some things in the past, but I never had the technical knowledge of how it actually works. So, I enrolled in classes at The School of Visual Arts in 2022.  I took film production, directing, cinematography, and editing.

This film is about how people say something like “nice guy”  before saying something awful about said person. It’s a human truth and I felt it was fodder for comedy.  I shot this early in my film curriculum. It was challenging, but I really enjoyed it and took away a new awareness of the production process, comedy, editing techniques, and writing for film.

Can’t wait to shoot my next one.
