90s rap video. That was the jumping-off point for this music video I directed. It evolved into much more. All of the shots of J-CA$$ rapping were based on actual music video shots from The Beastie Boys and N.W.A. What I enjoyed most was that our own personalities and sense of humor were added to the piece, especially the dancing dads. It was a lot of work, which required hundreds of decisions from the moment I signed on until launch. In the end, this is just a fun video for anyone who knows or has become a dad.
