Our goal was to create fun, engaging emails that wouldn’t take more than five seconds to read. This accomplished two things: one, it built a positive association with the brand, and two, it allowed the emails to stand out in cluttered inboxes.

As a bonus, here is an April Fools Day concept we had during the height of Subway's "Five-Dollar Footlong" campaign. This would have been one heck of a deal!
